As with most amateur writers there are mistakes but the are small ones and the story out weighs those by a mile. I could have seen another 2-3 chapters with some insight on the family. This was a sad but powerful story. But as all writers should know always leave your audience wanting more, that was accomplished here. |

| 2018-12-08 13:20:44 | No Man's Land_(1) | After digesting the story for a while there are a couple of things that stand out. Most guys go into the Air force for one reason, so they don't have to fight. No offense meant to any military member. I am a veteran myself. The Air force qualifications, as far as I know, are less than the Army or Marines. My point being is that most Air force personnel are not trained extensively in warfare, so unless the ladies taught Dennis tactics he would not be well versed even listening to generals.. Hopefully this is taken a constructive criticism. BTW, I am also a Vietnam Veteran. |
