That said I have to say that these stories have touched my heart. I have not stopped reading after the first chapter altho I must now to get some sleep. Walleyeguy you are a truly gifted story teller and you should be getting payed as an author. | 2012-07-12 12:53:55 | Swinging in the Neighborhood Chapter 28 The Daughter War Begins | This is a comment to Anon Reader 2012/07/12 04:31:35 I am a Viet Nam Vet who works as a volunteer at the local VA Clinic/MC and mental health as a Patients Advocate. The wars run from WWII to Iraq/Afganistan. A couple of things I have learned is, Truth is ALWAYS stranger than fiction mainly because "No battle plane EVER survives first contact with the enimy" ( this applys to life as well as war ). Also life does not fit neatly into a plot or pigeon hole. I also wright altho I have not posted any thing here, and if I wrote MY life story I would have to sell it as fiction because no publisher would beleave it is Autobiographical. (OK I will stop using $10.00 words when $0.50 words will work.) Anyway only one more thing, if you are going to critique someones work open an account, be nice about it and use username so the author can respond in privet. That works much better and it is the polite way to do it. (Also it gives the fans a chance to comment out of the public eye) |
