Well, thank you so much for finally commenting because your words mean a lot to me. I hadn't intended to continue but surprisingly I liked the characters so much I was thinking maybe a part 2 (the next summer) and possibly a prequel (Mike and Lisa first coming together) |

Thank you yet again. I love long, build-up stories also. This story came to me fast and it practically wrote itself. I am getting the feedback I wanted but didn't expect. I've held so many stories in, made up and personal. My sanity is being saved by sharing them with others finally. So thank you all a thousand times for giving me the confidence to continue. |

I'm a freak about realism, even if it's fiction. Every character I write is based on a real person or a combo of people. For instance, I just visited my uncle Mike today. More importantly, I try to write stories I want to read. I can't believe it, but I've read Newfound Lake 3 times since it was posted, just trying to see what others do. I don't care how lame it is, I'm a fan of this story but then again it's personal to me in a few ways. |
