hey there secret reader, my dad died before i knew my sexuality and my mom didn't know how to deal with it, she didn't learn before she died either, it fucked me up big time having no support system, i'm 34 and still getting to grips with who i am. i learn more everyday as i explore and learn who i am, but reading things like leon's and harvey's story gives me the inspiration to carry on, i'm from a generation where gay was just being explored,, harvey and leon are from the generation where theres understanding and acceptance in society. i can't tell you how jealous i am of that. i wish i'd been born 15 years later |
