To quote Wikipedia, " When placed at the beginning or end of a sentence, the ellipsis can also inspire a feeling of melancholy longing. The ellipsis calls for a slight pause in speech or any other form of text." Putting it at the beginning of every paragraph is similar to putting an exclamation point at the end of every sentence. A period, and often a comma, also indicates a slight pause in speech to prevent sentences or paragraphs from running on and on... Please understand, I am not criticizing the quality of your writing. I do like what you write very much. I just believe an ellipsis at the beginning of every paragraph detracts from your overall presentation. |

Blank lines between the paragraphs would also help. The story was a very good start. I am looking forward to your future work. |
