Maybe you don't care what other people think about your writing, but I thought you ought to know that such incredibly poor grammar and writing can run even the best stories. If you can't meet bothered to learn the technical rules of writing and grammar, get an editor and pay attention to what he or she says! |
| 2017-05-17 22:40:32 | Grandma's Secret | Please don't misunderstand; I don't want to take anything from your story, which on a scale of 1 to 10 is approximately a 25, but several years ago I worked on a similar story where a young man is helping to clean up his great grandmother's house after her death, and is burning some trash when his mother gives him a box to be burned, telling him not to open it. It was the collection of diaries about his great grandmother, her brother, and two female cousins, plus their family. It was set probably 35 years earlier than yours, in the 1930s. |
