The 25 cent charge is a hold over from the original Encyclopedia Brown stories, that's what Encyclopedia charged for his services (mainly because his clients are other kids who don't have much money I suspect). |

I have one more chapter to finish this story and then I'll be writing the Ben 10 story. Unfortunately I'm having some problems with my computer where it restarts the whole system every thirty minutes or so. It's hard to write the chapter in 30 minute chunks but I have a new computer on the way, but it could be a couple weeks before it arrives. I'll do what I can in the meantime. By the way, no job yet but I have an interview in the morning. |

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have my new computer up and running, it will take me a day or two to finish transferring files and programs and I'll need another day to work on my resume and a cover letter for a job I'm really interested in but I should be back on the story by the weekend. I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying a computer that starts up right away and doesn't shut down every half hour (or less) and loads an internet page in seconds instead of minutes, but it's going to take some getting use to everything. |

Just to let everyone know I'm enjoying working on the next chapter, especially because it stars one of the most requested Ben 10 characters. That's right, Kai and her uncle Wes are the guest stars for the next chapter. I'll get it done as quick as I can but it's a large chapter and I have a ways to go yet. |
