While I do love She is the One and I can't wait for part 20, I would rather see you concentrate on your new job and hopefully become successful at it. Just do what you need to do, and know that myself any many others are waiting patiently for you to continue with the story and we will be here no matter how long it takes. You took the time out of your extremely busy schedule to provide us with a compelling and satisfying story that myself and many others enjoyed and appreciated. It's very sad that you must put it on hold, but the reason for doing so is more than understandable. Your safety is paramount, and I would rather see the story end then see your get hurt. Like I said, you have nothing to be sorry for. I want to thank you for everything you did for us, and just know that you have my support, along with many others here. Keep your head held high man. | 2014-09-18 20:23:02 | She is the One (Part 16) | Oh and p.s., I haven't really made a story suggestion in my past comments because I tend to not try and get in the way of an author's creativity, especially one as talented as you. But I did come up with a pretty awesome idea you could incorporate in a future chapter: Have Jack go to a video game convention (i.e. Comic Con, E3) and somehow he's able to bring Kayla with him. They visit the Nintendo section and play the new Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and Wii U. They take a while to adjust since they're used to the N64 version but they end up beating a lot of other people playing, that one of the Nintendo staff sees this and asks if they would want to participate in the upcoming Smash tournament. Jack and Kayla say yes and they both practice and compete in the tournament a few days later, with Kayla winning the tournament. I know it doesn't have a lot to do with the main plot line, but I thought it would be a fun little side plot. Anyways, that's my one story suggestion. :) |

Also, it's important to note that you need to take care of yourself first before taking care of the story. Changing jobs and dealing with leaving your current one is much more important than busting out part 17 as soon as possible, so take care of what's obviously more important. You have many faithful readers here who will wait as long as it takes for the next part to come out, so there is no rush. Anyways, hope everything is well and good luck with the job change. Can't wait for part 17! :) |
