The overuse of detail in the early parts of the story should have been used moreso during the priod of time that Jamie's father Mikael finally starts foreplay with his ten year old daughter! All the information about Jamie's mother was necessary, handled appropriately , deftly and sensually! The outside influences of tooo much of Jack, and the minor skirmish with Bob was not necessary. However, the continuation of Jamie and her father's lives is necessary! You asked the reader's opinion of further delving into the life of Jamie and Mikael? A resounding...FUCKING YES!!! And, there's too damned much of Jack! His appearence in the story only disguised a sinister plot that was not necessary, and added no value to the context nor theme of the story! |
