I offer my shorts to as many people as possible. I do that because it seems like people like them and want to read them. Whether or not anyone chooses to purchase my novel or not is irrelevant to me. I tell people about it because I am proud of it. Writing a novel was a lifelong dream of mine. It was something that I've always wanted to do, but never thought I could do. So yes. I do talk about the fact that I have a novel out within the same story line. And yes, I did mention that it was on sale, because yes, I think people that like these shorts might be interested in getting a good deal on the novel. I will continue to post free short stories on this site and there is no requirement for people to purchase the novel. They (you) are not losing anything by not purchasing it. It's totally up to every individual. |
