Thanks for reading! u2314606, you have stumbled onto the difficulty I faced in writing this story: balancing the game details with the readers who likely had never played the game before. I couldn't drown them in details, lest they get bored and stop reading. But rest assured, the battles I described actually did happen; one of my best online matches ever. There were quite a few critical hits, but again, too much of these in the story and the reader gets bored. Oh, and the Morowak used Flare Blitz on Buzzwole. I missed that detail. Providing more detail, Buzzwole beat Ninetales on the switch-in and took a hit with assault vest from Fini before retaliating with Thunder Punch. Both Fairies are weaker on physical defense, after all. Oh, and Mandibuzz got KOs with the Rocky Helmet. But great eye! Glad to meet another serious player that knows the game! |
