Welp, I certainly struck a nerve with this tale. It wasn't intended to be glorious or fun. But, more than a bit uncomfortable. Rape isn't pretty, and especially in a younger girl. And I wanted to relate a story that illustrated the very long journey that she had to get to a sensible life. She will show up later in another story that completes the tale of her journey from being a victim to being a solidly based woman. |

Unconventional, for sure. Engrossing, you bet. Sure want to see how this goes. I recognize a lot of myself in Danny. I didn't grow up effete, though. But, as a very gentle man. Considerable success with a certain subset of womankind, too. |
