A woman with ambitions and dreams beyond the mundane. Also, loved that this story showed her relationships with her White lovers as both of them being equally respecting toward each other, including their individual differences and then the relationship evolving based on mutually shared likeable experiences with each other before any intimacies. All these positives help to evolve real meaningful happiness just like in same race relationships, so I'm real glad the author of this story based the evolvement of the story on that. Jackie was a very interesting person, it also really saddened me when Jim was killed, I really felt Jackie's pain. | 2011-01-06 17:17:03 | Mixed Metaphors VI | I love that this series is more based on a story instead of based on sex, that's a nice break from the standard sex theme of this website, which can sometimes get a bit boring and nauseous in repetitive smut. I love stories that are also about the life of the characters but including great sex as does this series. Thanks Oldguy for all the very informative chunks of history including King Richard and King Philip being Gay. Although, I'm aware there was a goodly amount of homosexuality especially among the nobility and other greats like Shakespeare, still its interesting to know more specifics, myself being a heterosexual woman. That's also what I love about this series, it's so very hetero without a lot of kinkiness; a refreshing and delightful change not common on this site. This series gets a well earned 10+ from me! |
