However, having it spelled out at the end of Muse makes more sense than having it become jarringly obvious at the beginning of Welt. Muse is only one part of a four part story, and this ending bridges this to that better than any other way I toyed with. In the grand scheme of things, Muse is more Aliona's origin story than anything else. It shows why she is the way she is, and why she does some of the things she ends up doing later. |
