I always felt that all the religious writings of the world would make excellent stories if you could remove all the religion from them and just read them.

As to bad ratings, tehy don't keep me up at night. Out of the number of times this has been read only a handful of people even vote...and only 2 or 3 of them voted negative. Hell, in school I was a total slacker, so anything 51% or higher is a passing grade.

I wake up each morning and write for me and those that love to read what I write. I don't think about the ones that don't.

Thanks for reading!

I grew up steadfastly anti-christian, got over that, and then started reading about what I'd spent so long hating. The Book of Enoch in particular is a favorite of mine. If you go back before all the really religious conotations, and the preaching, you find some truly amazing stories, made all the more interesting because they were written as fact and not fiction; which is what all writers try to do, really.

2011-09-09 09:17:55 Pyre (3) I'll be posting 4 & 5 today. Yesterday was a hard day to get writing. Too many things distracting me; we're having a second summer heat wave in my city and like Elmo "I got new shoes!"
