The foreplay of Alyssa and Zane "appears" to take place early within their relationship, however that's the way today's high school adolescents see life--though not the best way. The writer seems to be writing a bibliography, more so than a story of young teen love. It is well written, however, the paragraphs are TOO long and should be broken down to four, five, six or maybe seven lines at the most. There could also be more dialogue between the characters. |

Those fucking L O N G paragraphs makes the reader's eyes, mine in particular, roll back in their heads, cross, blur and see double, triple and stars--and then have to search for the next lower line to read. In my opinion I think the male character--the moderator--should get very serious with Morgan. She seems to have all the goodies, from sweetness, keeping her virginity, looks, character, smarts, etc, etc! To the extent the characters do have a conversation, their dialogue, though very limited, is very good and the roles of the characters are all played well. A brief description of the primary characters is a must do!! I'm sure you'll eventually offer improving, greater literary artistry, hopefully of the romantic, incestuous variety. |
