I don't know why, just a personal preference and something I have always done. As for this story, I still enjoy writing it, and readers like Ghost and BigD - and others - give me the motivation to continue to do so. If you do not like it or think the story has run its course, that is fine, you are entitled to your opinion. But why waste your time on it then? Why even open it up and take time out of your day if you think it is nothing but "crap"? I have read many other stories that I did not like or care for, some I thought were horrible, yet I never downgraded a single story and insulted the author by calling it "crap". Writing takes a lot of time and effort, and I choose not to insult others for their hard work and creativity. Doing so would get me nowhere and would, you guessed it, be a waste of my time. |
