Take it for what it is. I have been having a blast writing it and judging from the feedback, others have had a blast reading it. Jeremy is not meant to be perfect. I doubt people would enjoy listening to him spout off about how much of a big stud he is, and how all the women cannot keep their hands off of him (not to mention him bragging about how much money he has). Thus, his character continually downplays and downgrades himself. I enjoy writing about him this way. Remember... it's a story. Fiction. Enjoy it for what it is. |

| 2014-07-26 06:48:59 | Island Fever 2: Eternity - Chapter 01 | I would think that while Jeremy does a fair amount of work on the farm, he will hire farm-hands and plenty of outside to do the grunt of the work. Again, at the end of the original story, it was stated that the farm already had hired hands... He is willing to try life on the farm because it is what his bride prefers and and is accustomed to, having spent her entire life there. Look at all of the sacrifices that she has made for him. Perhaps Jeremy believes it is now time to return the favor. And how far did all of that money and being "mega-rich" get Jeremy prior to Kristanna and the others? He spent 16 years in isolation, hidden away from the rest of the world, on an island in the middle of the ocean. |
