But let's look at the characters - as I wrote below, Christie has always been self-centered. She has loved Chris for a long time, but she put that behind her social status at the school. She dated and was abused by small-dick for most of her 10th grade not because she enjoyed it, but because being his girlfriend brought her social standing. She was willing to have Chris as a private fuck buddy, as long as no one knew. Maybe you can argue that she was used and abused by her first boyfriend, so that's how she learned to treat Chris, but now, seven years later, as an adult, she has yet to learn how to put him before her own selfish desires. I am sympathetic to Nicole Brown, with her emotional baggage in BMS, but I don't feel it for Christie. The worst thing is the change in Chris, from the shy vulnerable guy into a sex machine who's had every girl, just another pussy. Hailey was enough |
