Probably the only way to blunt the unfair efforts of the NVG squad members to seriously downgrade my stories, is for those who really like them to sign in and vote for them. My stories are not above fair-minded criticism and few or maybe none of them deserve a 100% rating, but I think that they as a whole deserve better than they are getting on this site. |

Gina, you might take some writing classes. Or do it like I did. I just sat down and wrote my first story without any plan, just let it grow. It was my novel that the stories about Jimmy Benson came from. It grew to be about 80,000 words long. It took a number of months with me averaging about five pages a day. Then I spent the next year filling it out, editing it and working on the grammar. I still had to do a lot of formatting to get it to work on this site, which led me to withdrawing it a couple of times. In any case, I think that a honest story well told is more important than following any arbitrary rules of writing. So, please, just get some writing tablets and let fly. Let me know how it goes, too. |
