Neither my person nor my stories are above criticism.. But, you use another trolling technique here. That is making an unfounded (and untrue) accusation. Trolls are not satisfied to just call a person's deficiencies to notice. They feel called upon to make up others out of whole cloth. And trolls hate to be called on their unfair and sometimes untrue accusations. Cyber bullying is alive and well. |

And are you trying to assert that no one else on this site is subject to this kind of behavior? I have read a number of other's stories here and seen even worse treatment accorded to much better writers than I. Like ones trying to arrange underage dates. In a free and open society criticism and dissent need to be sacred rights. And I have rightfully received a good bit of it. But, their is an element here that equates defending oneself from the more extreme attacks as some kind of selfishness or cowardice. My name is on everything I do here, open for all to see. The real cowards here are the ones who attack while hid behind anonymous identities. And I would guess that at least some of my defenders here are anonymous also to prevent retaliation against them from people like you. Perhaps the secrecy of your postings are an indication of a fear of retaliation by me or others. Forget it, I don't have time for that kind of negativity. |

I liked this story very much, NortonX. You handled the loss very well. The buddy 'frolics' were cool. Or uncool as buddies so often are. Fine episode of strangness and with a heartwarming ending. I miss your comments on mine and worry that I have offended you in some way. Write on, good guy. |
