FYI: This series of stories are a little different from my usual fare. It is on purpose. I have developed some theories about how things proceed here. Not the official protocol, but how it really works. So, I wrote this series, because it is more in line with what is generally popular here and it had a chance to go up for awhile on the top page. I had about 3000 reads the first day and I usually drop to 2/3 of the first day's total for the second day which would have been about 2000 more reads for a total two day count of 5000. But, since this story was more popular than my usual and was left up on the front page for most of the day, I instead got about 8000 reads on the second day. And when a couple of negative votes were posted and the rating dropped only about three points, the readership per hour dropped to the usual totals, about a tenth of what it had been all day. Enough said. |

Dear sir, thank you for your polite criticism. However at least 34 people disagree with you. Too bad you didn't finish reading the story. There are many other fine stories on this board, though. I suggest almost anything by senorlongo. |

Chris2300, thank you for your thoughts. I have no writing of a sequel in mind. But, if someone else wants to take the gauntlet, they have my permission. It could focus on her panic because of her age and what happens when they each return to work. That is if either of them do, since they had worked so closely together. I would love to see what senorlongo could do with this! Perhaps there could be more than one sequel by different authors. |
