I mean, I get what Muse was about (though I feel suckered in by the Young tag, which it SO was not - but was a fantastic story, so...). Welt was about exposing the corruption and manipulations of the system and getting the crew together. Vice was about love & the youngsters overthrowing the titans. Most of Pyre was the messiah getting his shit together and supposedly warring for people to rightly use the freedom Aliona's group warred to achieve. In the last few chapters, the world's still a mess, yet Aliona, Michael, &c are content as if paradise had been achieved. All I saw was a lot of death and destruction, and no change in the ways of the world. Maybe with the Chorus gone, they just didn't give a fark anymore? Was it just about them, then? I don't get it.
