The nearest known galaxy to earth is 250,000 light years away. 500 light years is not that far at all, not even out of our galaxy, The Milky Way. As stated in the first chapter the other side of the universe is about 15,000,000,000,000 light years, that is the furthest object we have detected. The scale of space is really, really, big. |

I made the character Michael very rich for the simple sake that it stops money worriers from being part of the story. Who wants to read about people struggling to pay bills?
