Wanted to like the main character and feel sorry for him for what he was going through, but you made him sound like a big wuss. You talked about how he always helped his sister when they were young, and most people like to read about family pulling together against adversity, so I could see his sister and brother kidnapping his ex-wife and kind of doing to her what she did to him . Or you could have done I plot twist where the child was actually his brothers and after he confronted her about the baby, she thought she was going to lose him so they send him to his sisters to calm down till he was ready to listen. That the family had done this too save his marriage and that his family loved him. Some people may like what you wrote so I would not rewrite a new chapter. Write a new story that goes in a different direction. Heck you could write a couple of stories with similar beginnings but different endings and make everyone happy....lol Just keep writing! |

Though she was blind I think he was the one who was the more handicapped. Shut off to love and life. It took him seeing how she handled life head on for him to take the leap and open up to experience life with a chance of being hurt. For every day there was a chance for her to be hurt and she still greeted the day with a smile! Great story, great series! as always johnny rotten |
