2012-08-26 10:51:48 | The first time I read this, the details of the doctor's whole-hearted effort are felt as the primary plot. The primary character introduces so little (aparently traumatized, here) while at least two primary perspectives (the Doctor and the Patient-handler) are alternated so their 'braiding' toward the end leaves the reader shocked with surprise (like a suspense-thriller). (Indeed, upon my first-reading, I was astonished to recognize characters from a sequence of tales -- from which I don't think I have read but 2 or 3! ) | |
2012-08-26 11:12:16 |

...-08-23 Thu... never saw the tie (described so visually by 'horsewithnoname' as the 2x4 to the face). Awesome. Could you add a picture of Cookie's ring (to your picture gallery)?
I did as you requested and added both Cookie's ring, from Auntie Nell, and the ring that Uncle Bryce had given to Kate - which she threw out the door. Please consider putting your comments on "Tristane of Eloise". I'm interested in how you saw the character of Dr. Janelle...
First, I apologize for appearing so (alof, if you will). It's summer-time and as little as I pretend it to be, I love pretending to juggle with my incessant master: time. [And so, I move on.] I am SHARING my PM'd request and your quick response (this much later, because I'm a terrible juggler). |

(Maybe that's interesting to me because my own mother spoke French before learning English. It seems that her babysitter -- apparently from Quebec -- was mostly speaking French. Having been introduced to French before kindergarten {{Thank You, Grandma!}}, I have used that insight most of my life. To find it in the stories I enjoy recreationally is just a pleasure. Perhaps akin to the 'classes of western music' (eg., structure of Classical, polyphony of the Baroque, the styles of various Dances, the Pentatonic melodies of Irish Folk, ...). Oops, wandered. Dr. Jannelle, has that 'far, far away' character, because her intimate thoughts so-often come out spoken (or muttered) "en Franaise" [in French]. Once the reader grasps (or just accepts) her character, the readers perception of the writers character (Dr. Janelle) become like a musical group, chorus or band that |

2012-08-27 13:48:25 | The Wolves of Paris | Wow! As previously commented, the intracate manner your tale has been woven so tightly to the facts (aka historical record) shames ANY attempt I've EVER made at juggling time... more concisely: AWESOME! |
