Few writers have such a unique approach & talent. Congratulations for the "dual audience. (I still can't spell but ur smart enough to understand my jist & meaning) I had seen the "James" title several times but had just put off reading it. One author from 2010-2015 era, has some really good stories posted, but the last chapter or 2 seems to be missing. No closure whatsoever. This has made me hesitant to start reading stories with chapters or parts. Your writing is so enjoyable, I pushed caution to the wind to read your "James". It had been mentioned in comments in some of other of your works I have read. (I like to see how my critique compares to other fans.) There seems to be a little extra time today so I'm after it. If all the parts I can find, I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Thanks for sharing Ur tallent. |

In Fairy Tale times from 700AD to 1500AD it was common to marry the next day after they met or even not to have even met because of an arranged marriage. In todays "liberated sex" society, birth control, etc., such an incident is believable. As the Bible says "Mystery of the way of a man with a maiden" meaning that chemistry between opposite sexes can not be understood by onlookers or participants. After my 1st wife died at 50 I met a semi-attractive girl right at 30, I decided not to let the relationship grow beyond friendship for her sake. When I mentioned in a grief recovery group I chose "not to fall in love with her" a female member of the group replied, "how can U do that, U love or you don't love" I tale that as a very immature remark from a "in her 40's" woman. One can guide & control emotions in maturity. |

Your use of words to create the atmosphere right here in this room as I read is close to a transportation (me being right there in the room watching it happen). One thing that is surprising to me (yet obvious), with Melanie's accounting studies, James hasn't offered her a PT job to follow up on his LV locations to prevent Asst Mgrs or anyone else scarfing profits.
