John/Dave has a number of things he must deal with so goes with his wife. I think maybe his new found willingness to voice his displeasure with his rich wife's conduct is good. It may change dynamic of what appears to be dysfunctional situation between them. Perhaps he leaves her and returns to Meg. Maybe she decides to go with him to see Meg because she wants to understand their relationship. Perhaps getting closer to Meg as well... Meg has not lead a life of experience and could benefit from the guidance of an experienced friend since is some areas she clearly has issues. Sure... the "Wife" might be a bitch, but what was John/Dave like before? I love all the directions you could go with this... you wanted me to muse on this, and I have tried. Your next Chapter will be a thrill. |
