Your writing as an entire work is superb as ever even if, IMO, the plot is relatively short. It is consistent and works with the scenes all the way through. Well done. |

HYPObaric chambers are used primarily in research into altitude sickness, Hyper refers to elevated pressure and one of its uses is in treatment of trauma. Hypo refers to lessened pressure and is used to train the body to work in a low-O2 environment. The hyperbaric chamber would also be more likely to be confused with the pod's construction than the hypobaric chamber. The hyperbaric container needs to be able to contain pressures many times that of the regular atmosphere (associated with diving injuries) but the hypobaric chamber only needs to keep out a MAXIMUM of 15psi (atmospheric pressure) at full vacuum (which will never be used anyway). |
