Well, the narrator's dad was quite occupied with technology. Probably had headphones on while he was doing work and they were up in the bedroom too. Sometimes, you just got to suspend some disbelief when it comes to fantasy stories. |

Yep, they do have a pretty big house. And some walls that are tough to hear through. And as I mentioned earlier, the dad was pretty easily distracted and obsessed with technology. If I add another chapter and make this into a series, I may elaborate on that character and that plot point in further detail. |
