I did make some important changes and additions, though. Maybe my proofreader will chime in and say whether or not the extra two weeks was worth the wait because he read it before I chewed on it awhile. Always trying to go faster for me as much as for ya'll. |
| 2017-07-24 13:25:08 | Finding a Treasure at Winn-Dixie 2 | Stealth Eagle, I suppose I do. The truth is, I started that as a quick short story when I needed a break from my neighbor's incest. I never had any plans on fully developing it, nor having it turn out to be a halfway decent story. I turned it into a PG version for writing class; it was much shorter and well received. Maybe if I ever learn how to write faster I will get on this one, too. Thanks for reading it and commenting. |

I wish I could go faster, but it's just not the way my brain or my life is wired. How many chapters? Not sure, but I'm sure everyone senses we're coming towards the end. |

As you can see I was allowed back on the site but I'll have to walk a fine line because someone obviously is gunning for me and must have reported all my old stories, Been here for 8 yrs and they all got taken down. I think what you were saying below is, when there is an extra wait, it's for a good reason. This time, however, it's just because I have had too much shit going on. |
| 2017-09-09 13:21:40 | Potential Part 20 | I'm sure many think I'm never going to finish the next chapter, but you're wrong. I normally try to make chapters 10,000 to 15,000 words, then get it out to you. This time I'm working through more material because each scene is so interlaced with the next that I don't want to give you something then be forced to alter what's supposed to be next. I'm approaching a breaking point and will go into proofreading this weekend. The next chapter covers tons of shit. I hope nobody's head explodes. :-) |
