I guess I'll post it today unless someone wants to read it first and make sure it's not a "decent filler episode" or has errors. Either way, it'll hit Wolfpub first. There is a small change I need to make for this site. Hate to get banned again. Filler, really? I thought it was more of uncovering, reveals and setting up, but that's just my opinion. | 2017-09-26 14:26:53 | Potential Part 20 | Fuck, I feel like I've been to a writing class, and feeling a bit intimidated(as I often do because I'm still searching for the self-esteem this shitty life beat out of me). I never feel like I know what I'm doing and think I mostly get lucky when a chapter works. Maybe that's why they take so long, all that second-guessing? Great feedback and something I'll be aware of because what I think happens is a good story always takes longer to write and more effort than expected. The author finally gets to the bang(pun intended) of the story, and they fuck it up because they are finally getting to fuck the person they have been fighting for so long not to fuck. Somebody is getting fucked in chapter 21. Yes in today's society being a lesbian is easier, so to speak, but you have minimized it. For someone who grew up before Will & Grace, with fire and brimstone, it's not old hat after a few licks. Especially in HS. Reb and Dee don't want to be discovered for a long time. College maybe. |
| 2017-09-26 14:38:18 | Potential Part 20 | I know I said the chapter was done, but I sent it to a couple of people hoping for a little proofreading, but mostly for feedback to quiet the devils in my head telling me it sucks. While I waited, I widdled and twilled and tweaked. Finally heard back from the one and only guy who has consistently helped me, and he made a good point about the ending. I made a change, slept on it and changed it a little more this morning. So, when you read the last scene, if it's really good, that's why, and it was worth the wait. Of course, you'll never know if it's better because you didn't read it the first three times. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Ready or not, I'll post it today. |
