I like the guy leaving her and then trying to come back part. My first wife did exactly that (switching male for female obviously.) Pretty ballsy writing the whole story from the female point of view, a woman might be able to tell it was written by a man but I couldn't. |

I've already read all the contest stories and your story is strongly in the top five in my mind for my contest vote. There are a few writers that write without any expectation of winning (including me) but there are also several writers here that in my opinion are the cream of the crop. Your story proves that our voting system isn't accurate. It reads like a beautifully told true story. |
