The impressing of my dragons is totally different than the Pern dragons. I started looking into that because I've had my roommates accuse me of that (they read my story as I write it and they are huge McCaffrey fans) and according to "The Dragonlovers Guide to Pern" the impressing is instant and even makes a emotional bond where they can sense each other's emotions. Yes, my dragons impress on the first thing they see, but more similar to a foal impressing on its mother after dropping to the ground and trying to stand. The soul bonding takes about a month or two to truly get strong, and then they only get a mild sense of each other's presence. Though that all gets slightly explained later in the book. It's better explained in the sequel because someone very important dies, and his dragon isn't so happy.... |

Yeah, Hero eats bread like a cat eats broccoli, or a dog drinks beer. Doesn't mean that he is not a full blooded carnivore. Randel eats tubers and grass on occasion but I haven't talked about that yet. |

For those curious on updates with this story... I'm past the halfway point. I'm on the wedding scene between Sre and Roscrow, which has to be the most random and most descriptive chapter out of the whole book. They get kidnapped by the townsfolk and MADE to wear traditional garb, which Sre's dress is... um... there has to be a word more descriptive than just plain beautiful? Breathtaking? Gorgeous? Nope, none of those do it justice. Roscrow gets put into pure white ceremonial armor. It's also the chapter you find out Kelvin is... um... a little different. Also, Roscrow's dad is such a sarcastic ass. I'm debating putting just that chapter up. Anyways, yeah, wanted to give you all an update. |

The only reason I didn't bother doing the heavy editing I had been planning on doing was because this is a world that is not mine. Only "Lily" is mine. The world, its lore, its various species, all of it is in his head. I'm a visitor and it's not my place to be getting into someone else's head and fixing what I don't think is right. I did do quite a bit of cleaning... Trust me when I say the original is much worse. |

For one, I ain't no bro. And for two, it is getting published, so I'm not posting anymore about this story. READ THE FUCKING AUTHOR'S NOTE PEOPLE! You read the whole story but skip that part. Wow, you are brilliant. If you miss that part, then you won't be getting all the subtle hints that go on in the book. |
